Firefighters battled a three-alarm fire in downtown Rochester Thursday night that destroyed the building.
Crews were called to the Scio Street and East Avenue at 10:45 p.m. and found heavy smoke and fire from the City Blue Imaging building.
Public Information Officer Ryan Fleming told WHEC that firefighters were challenged getting water on the fire due to limited doors and windows to access the heavy fire conditions.
A third alarm was called as crews surrounded the building and used a defensive attack to combat the flames, causing a wall of the building to collapse.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries in the fire.
Crews remained on scene for hours battling the fire.
